Episode 88: Stacy Peterson Part 1

Stacy Peterson went missing in October 2007. The events leading up to her disappearance were concerning to those close to her, despite the stories her husband told anyone who would listen. 

In Part 1 we discuss Drew's life and marriages before his marriage to Stacy, and Stacy's heartbreaking family history before she met Drew.

Episode 87: Stacy Castor

Stacy Castor met the love of her life, Michael Wallace, at 17 years old. Their marriage had its' ups and downs, but tragically Michael passed away after a sudden illness took hold on him. Stacy found love again, however, and married David Castor. When David suddenly died from what was meant to appear as a suicide, Stacy found herself the subject of scrutiny from all directions.

Episode 86: Rachel Barber

15 year old Rachel Barber was a beautiful young woman with a promising dance career ahead of her. One evening, someone she considered a trusted friend lured her to her home and killed her in a premeditated attack fueled by jealousy.

Episode 85: Carl and Maria Elena, True Love Never Dies

From a young age, Carl had dreamed of the beautiful woman who he was meant to be with. Quite literally, dreamed it - he had visions of this woman from the age of 6. When Carl found Maria Elena years later in another country, he immediately recognized her as the woman of his dreams. Soon after meeting, Maria died from Tuberculosis. This would not be the end of their story, and Carl made sure that he could be with the woman he had been in love with his entire life.

Episode 84: The Pillow Pyro

Every summer, the United States West Coast region experiences the nightmare that is wildfire season. In recent years one or two of these fires have been attributed to human causes such as gender reveal parties, campfires gone rogue, or even the occasional deliberate fire. 

In the late 1980s through the early 90s an arsonist dubbed the Pillow Pyro wrecked havoc on the community and taunted those determined to find and capture him.

Episode 83: Ashlea Harris

Fresh from our food comas, we bring you a bonus episode for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Money can be powerful motivation for a lot of people, but in this case it brought greed and rage. Ashea was a sweet woman who cared for those around her and unfortunately her life was taken by two greedy assholes looking for an easy payday.

July 31, 2008 was a beautiful summer day in Iron Mountain, Michigan. With Senior Year and the first days of college right around the corner, local teens were spending time at the local swimming hole at the railroad train bridge over the Menominee River. In the blink of an eye, their carefree summer abruptly ended thanks to one sad sack of human sewage. Part two we go into the history of the trash pile who took responsibility for exactly zero things in his entire life, and some of the highlights from his trial.

Episode 80: Heather Higgins & Kala Williams

Three mothers in Spokane, WA are bound by their desire to see justice for two women that have been horribly neglected by law enforcement. Heather Higgins has been missing since 2010, and Kala Williams' mutilated body was found in 2015. Despite a confession and DNA evidence, the man everyone believes is responsible may never have charges brought against him. The families hope for justice relies on someone coming forward with information, and we hope one day they do.

Episode 79: Halloween Sampler

For Halloween this year, we have a mixed bowl of horror: four mini cases that occurred on Halloween. From a case poisoned candy, to the most unfortunate of accidents, October 31st is haunted with truly horrific crimes.
