Episode 93: Brian Deneke

In Amarillo, TX during the 1990's there was a building tension between two very distinct subcultures in the town's youth which erupted in a scene of absolute chaos one fateful December night. This murder tore the community of Amarillo apart and the effects still ripple through punk culture today. Brian Deneke's life was stolen. The justice system served a slap in the face to Brian, his memory, and his family, so we must remember him and the message his life can teach us.

Episode 92: Cary Stayner

In continuing the sad saga of the Stayner family, this week we talk about Steven's older brother Cary. When Steven returned home to them, things didn't go well in the Stayner household. Cary moved on to work at a lodge near Yosemite where he would become known as the Yosemite Park Killer.

Episode 91: Tim McLean

Tim was a young father with a friendly and outgoing personality. While traveling home from his job with a traveling carnival, Tim boarded a Greyhound bus for the long journey home. 

Vince was a troubled man, on a mission to remove evil from the world. 

These two men met through odd circumstances, and ultimately Tim lost his life in a horrific attack that many have come to know worldwide. The true atrocity here is the absolute absence of justice served for Tim.

Episode 90: Kenneth Parnell

Kenneth Parnell was a predator of the absolute worst kind who preyed on vulnerable young boys. Kenneth couldn't be bothered to do the dirty work himself, however, and would recruit others to help him abduct the poor boys he tormented. Infuriatingly, Kenneth never really paid anywhere near an acceptable price for his heinous crimes.

Episode 89: Stacy Peterson Part 2

Stacy Peterson went missing in October 2007. The events leading up to her disappearance were concerning to those close to her, despite the stories her husband told anyone who would listen. 

In Part 2 we pick up where we left off, following the events of the day Stacy disappeared. Through outright lies and convoluted story telling, Drew attempted to spin his own tale to explain her sudden and mysterious absence. Thankfully, he is behind bars for a very long time and he has no one to blame but his big fat mouth.

Stacy Castor met the love of her life, Michael Wallace, at 17 years old. Their marriage had its' ups and downs, but tragically Michael passed away after a sudden illness took hold on him. Stacy found love again, however, and married David Castor. When David suddenly died from what was meant to appear as a suicide, Stacy found herself the subject of scrutiny from all directions.

Episode 86: Rachel Barber

15 year old Rachel Barber was a beautiful young woman with a promising dance career ahead of her. One evening, someone she considered a trusted friend lured her to her home and killed her in a premeditated attack fueled by jealousy.

Episode 85: Carl and Maria Elena, True Love Never Dies

From a young age, Carl had dreamed of the beautiful woman who he was meant to be with. Quite literally, dreamed it - he had visions of this woman from the age of 6. When Carl found Maria Elena years later in another country, he immediately recognized her as the woman of his dreams. Soon after meeting, Maria died from Tuberculosis. This would not be the end of their story, and Carl made sure that he could be with the woman he had been in love with his entire life.
