Halloween is a great time for kids to dress up as their favorite characters and trick-or-treating is the highlight of every child's Halloween experience. Parents always check the candy to make sure it all looks good, taking a parent tax here or there for their trouble, but does any of us really know where the urban legend of poisoned candy originated? Many believe this disgusting tale from the suburbs of Houston, TX could be the origin of why we must always inspect the Halloween candy haul.
